Microsoft Advertisement
Microsoft Advertisement (opens in a new tab) is an Ads platform from the Microsoft Suite, that allows clients to set up advertising campaings on the Microsoft Network.
Prerequisites
In order to integrate with Microsoft Advertisement , you'll need to collect the following information:

Domain* | The Authentication domain for access tokens. usually its login.microsoftonline.com |
Client Id* | The Client ID of your Registered Azure Application. Follow Microsoft docs to generate a Client Id (opens in a new tab) |
Client Secret | The Client Secret of your Registered Azure Application. Only required if you set up a secret during the Azure App creation. Follow Microsoft docs to retrieve the Client Sercret (opens in a new tab) |
Dev Token* | The developer Token from the Microsoft Advertising Developer Portal, that identifies your application. Follow Microsoft docs to get a Developer Token (opens in a new tab) |
Redirect URL* | The Fides URL to which users will be redirected upon successful authentication (ex. https://fides-host.com/oauth/callback (opens in a new tab)) |
You will also need to add the fides redirect URL to the list of the accepted redirected URIs of the application.
- You will need to Log In your Azure Account.
- Access the Microsoft Entra ID portal.
- On the left menu access the App Registrations.
- Search for your registered application.
- Click the link for Registered URIs on the Essentials Menu.
- You should see all your registered URIs on the Web panel, click the link Add URI.
- Add the full path to your application.

Integrating with Microsoft Advertisement
To integrate an existing system with Microsoft Advertisement:
- Navigate to Data map → View Systems and choose the system that you want to connect.
- Click on the Integrations tab.
- Pick the vendor or system type that you want to integrate with from the Connection type drop-down menu.
- Complete the required fields for the integration and click Save.
You may confirm your connection is working using the Test connection button, if desired.

Technical detail
Fides utilizes API endpoints to access the API service for a SaaS application. An API service is the programmatic interface through which Fides can query and update data within an application to access, rectify, or delete personal information. Each SaaS tool will have a unique set of endpoints to enable privacy functions.
